Elijah had been standing nearby. He only went up to Trystan when he saw that Bethany had left.
He looked carefully at his boss' face.
"Mr. Lawson, the organizer of the gala has sent a dinghy over. He says that we can board the ship at any time."
"I'm not going." Trystan cast one last glance at Bethany's retreating figure. "Let's go home."
"Okay." Elijah glanced at Bethany too, then followed Trystan.
Honestly, he couldn't understand. After he had seen Bethany's medical records, Trystan's attitude toward her had changed.
However, Trystan also had no intention of changing his mind about marrying Megan.
While they were on the way back, Trystan spoke up in confusion. "Why do you think Bethany decided to give up on rehabilitation for her hand?"
He really couldn't understand. Drawing was Bethany's dream. Why would she give it up?
