Chapter 748
Bethany, Sharon, and Regina chatted until it was almost time for the exhibition to start. Since Sharon had to give a speech, the three of them made their way to the venue together.
As Sharon stepped up on stage, Bethany and Regina hung out outside, chatting casually.
"So, how's everything going with you?" Regina asked, her tone showing real concern.
"Not bad," Bethany answered with a smile.
"And your daughter..." Regina trailed off. She didn't know the full story about Bethany jumping into the sea or whether her daughter had made it out alive.
Bethany's smile grew, her face lighting up with warmth. "Ely's doing great, too."
Regina sighed quietly, relieved she hadn't crossed any lines. "I'm really glad to hear that. And you…"
"Huh?" Bethany gave her a curious look. Then, she seemed to understand. "I got married. I guess having a kid before that is why everyone's so surprised I'm even married."
