Chapter 331
In the living room, Jenny kept her voice low but continued to curse.
"No, the person who deserves the most scolding is your idiot brother. He's reached a new level of stupidity!"
Frank sighed heavily. "Sooner or later, he'll realize what he's lost."
He stood and prepared to leave. "Take care of Beth. I'll pick her up early tomorrow morning."
As Jenny escorted him to the door, she said, "Frank, please try your best, okay?"
Frank looked at her, puzzled.
"Try your best to win Beth's heart back." Jenny's eyes were red. "Otherwise, I'm afraid she'll…"
"I will!" Frank's tone was firm.
The following day, Bethany seemed normal. She was just a bit sluggish, looking very tired.
"Did you not sleep well last night?" Jenny asked with concern.
Bethany thought hard for a moment. "I went to bed early and slept quite well."
Jenny observed her carefully. Bethany didn't have dark circles under her eyes, so she must have slept reasonably well. But she looked exhausted, as if she lacked energy.
