CHAPTER 62: THE BIG FIRE
When the bar counter and sofas were set on fire, the space inside was already small, and bullets could easily hit people nearby. Moreover, this place was full of alcohol. When the bottles were broken, the liquid would flow out, and the sparks from the bullets would ignite the alcohol.
No one tried to put out the fire. There were too many flammable materials, and half of the bar soon burned. The police and criminals both dropped their guns. It was not the time to shoot now; they had to leave the burning bar.
Victoria started moving towards the door as soon as the fire started. Not only did she have to dodge bullets, but she also had to see the way in the dimly lit bar, which made it even more difficult. She should have brought a night vision device; seeing the way would have been clearer.
"Ah!" A girl who got shot fell in front of Victoria. She was hit in the leg by stray bullets, but no one passing by reached out to help her up. Instead, they stepped over her from behind.
