CHAPTER 54: STALKER

Victoria lived in a cozy duplex apartment in a neighborhood with lush green areas and excellent infrastructure. However, she had to visit the mall to shop for clothes. Since buying clothes wasn't urgent, Victoria spent her morning feeding the stray animals in the area. She bought some food from nearby shops and headed to the park. "C'mon, take it easy; don't fight over it," Victoria said gently, crouching to watch the animals eat. She smiled as they eagerly gobbled up the food, her heartwarming at the sight. Suddenly, a black cat arched its back and growled, making an aggressive sound toward something. Victoria furrowed her brow, turning around to see what had caused the commotion. To her surprise, there were no other animals in sight. She glanced back and noticed that two cats had already been scared away, but it wasn’t the black cat that had frightened them; it was the mother of two kittens. She turned around again, her eyes scanning the area, but still, she saw nothing unusual.
