CHAPTER 230: STARTING FROM SCRATCH
The sky was a dark blue that night, and the stars threatened to rain down on the city; it was a perfect night for rest, but the group was far from getting rest. They all had their necks hung over a pile of work and were moving rapidly like ants, hoping to complete their hill.
Victoria had spent hours motivating every one of them to still push the project and was able to get them to assemble that night. They were all drowned in cups of coffee, gifts, supplies, and tools.
"Laura's such a bitch!" Sarah said, scratching her scalp aggressively. She was working on cutting out pieces for the project redesign.
"I have a strong feeling they're going to steal our work and pass it off as theirs," Martin added. He was right beside her, arranging the instruments they needed to recouple their work.
