The woman's face twisted with sadness as she wiped a tear from her cheek. "Doing the right thing?" She managed a sad smile. "You're brave. I don't have your courage. All I can do is bring my children here to protest. I don't have the strength to seek justice for my husband."
Victoria placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "No, coming here shows your bravery. You have a family and responsibilities. You can't afford to fall apart."
The woman's eyes, heavy with sorrow, looked at Victoria. "I'm exhausted, not just from work, but from the pain of losing my husband. We were together for so many years, and everything was good, but…"
Her voice broke as tears streamed down her face; her eyes were dry, but her heart aching deeply.
Victoria gently rubbed her back. "Your husband wouldn't want to see you like this. He would want you to stay strong for yourself and your children."
The woman took a deep breath, trying to find solace in Victoria's words. "Thank you, kind lady."
