Austyn scanned the crowd. ‘We’ll get a taxi. See if the man follows us.’ ‘Or we should send the kids home first. I don’t want to put them in harm’s way.’ ‘You are right.’ Austyn nodded. Kira hailed a taxi. Austyn strapped the kids in first. Just as Kira was about to get in, a loud screeching noise startled her. A car was barrelling down the street, straight towards her.
