On the 4th of March, Austyn came home from the army on a weekend visit. He didn’t call, wanting to give her a surprise. He was the one who got the surprise. He caught her and Liam in bed. He broke off the engagement that night. She begged him to take her back. He didn’t. A week later, she invited him to dinner and said it was a farewell to their relationship. He went.
