Chapter 87 - Atmospheric Change
The atmosphere was thick with murmurs of rebellion and slowly but gradually, it got louder.
Adrian had sparked the flames of mutiny amongst the hearts of these people and it burned ever brightly.
Kara's eyes drifted across the room and scanned the faces of the people who were raising their voices. Their insubordination aggravated her but she kept her composure.
She turned to the one who started the fire. He wore a sly smile, he really thought he was going to get away with it.
'What an insolent fool,' she thought to herself. 'He has no idea what is coming.'
"Silence!" Her voice thundered aloud. The voices came to an abrupt stop after she had spoken. The attention of all the lycanthropes had turned at her. Their faces expressed their rebellion but their voices silent at the fear of her aura.
"Your words tell me you don't know the first thing about being a leader," Kara turned to Adrian who eyed her warily.
