Chapter 66 - Jack and Elsa's first true romance
Jack's serious expression suddenly cracked into a goofy grin.
"Wait, am I dreaming? Is this real life?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Elsa's face fell, her eyes widening in alarm. "What do you mean? Of course, it's real!" She laughed, but it was tinged with a hint of annoyance. "You scared me for a second there!"
Without warning, she punched him softly on the arm again. "Stop teasing me, Jack!"
But her expression quickly softened, and she pulled him back in, her lips crashing against his. Jack's eyes fluttered closed as he deepened the kiss, his arms wrapping around her tightly.
As they kissed, Elsa's laughter turned into a gentle hum, her body melting into his. Jack's hands roamed her back, his fingers tracing the curve of her spine.
Suddenly, he pulled back, his eyes locking onto hers. "I'm not dreaming, am I?" he asked again, his voice low and husky.
Elsa's smile was radiant. "You're not dreaming, Jack. This is real. We're real."
