Chapter 153 - August's inference
Kara's screams still lingered in Elsa's ears. Her very last words also hit deep. From what she said, she did think she was deserving of happiness. Elsa bit her lower lip in disappointment as she remembered the hurtful ordeals she had to go through because of Kara.
'Why would a horrid being like that ever think she deserves love? She is nothing but a cruel dictator who took away my father, and my mother,' a wave of weakness washed over Elsa. Inadvertently, she found herself on her knees unable to stop the tears that went knocking at her eye's door; desperate to be let out so they could flow.
Jack turned to her, he could sense her internal conflict. His face scrounged in displeasure as he padded over to her. While walking, his eyes turned to Luke who was still recovering from his injuries. His injuries would have been fatal if he was a human but the regenerative abilities of a werewolf were to die for. Able to heal death-threatening injuries in seconds provided silver wasn't involved.
