Chapter 121 - New bonds
Grace nodded in understanding, her eyes filled with compassion. "I guess being aware of the truth comes with so many tribulations and trials," she said, her voice laced with empathy.
Luna smiled wistfully, despite the sadness in her eyes. "Yes, it does. But at least we have each other to lean on."
The two women shared a gentle laugh, a laugh that belied the pain they both felt inside. They knew that they had to be strong, for each other, and for those they loved.
"We'll get through this, together," Luna said, her voice firm with determination.
Grace nodded in agreement. "We will. We'll face whatever comes our way, and we'll come out stronger on the other side."
Luke stood by the side of the door, listening to every word his mother and Grace were saying. He felt a pang of sadness in his heart, knowing that his mother had gone through so much pain and suffering. He felt sorry for her, and his eyes welled up with tears.
