Chapter 60: The Insignificant Woman
Oliver’s dismissive attitude was painfully obvious. Jenny was deeply unhappy; in her mind, their relationship had always been harmonious. What had gone wrong? It was all because of that damned Alison, Jenny thought angrily.
Glancing toward the bathroom, Jenny tried to remain composed, her voice taking on a forgiving tone. “That’s unfortunate. Please be more careful next time. It’s getting late, let's have breakfast.”
After saying this, Jenny moved toward the bathroom door, intending to open it. Sensing her intent, Oliver quickly stepped in front of her, blocking her path. “Go to the living room first. I’ll change and join you.”
