CHAPTER 15: ACCUSATIONS

ERIC'S POV I arrived home with a lot still on my mind. I didn't even want to check social media because I knew they were already throwing insults at Tasha. I didn't want to get more angry than I was. Stepping inside the house, my mother approached me. She had a huge smile on her face, and as for me, I had the complete opposite. "Eric, my boy!" She exclaimed, moving close to me. "It's so glad to finally see you." She hugged me, but eventually let go. My face was not still looking good, even after the gleeful welcome. "What's with the long face?" she asked. "Oh, let me guess. It's because of Tasha." I did nothing but look at her as she continued, "You know, I'm quite surprised as well. But you don't see me frowning. Come on now, smile for mommy." She wanted to touch my chin, but I stopped her. "Please, mom, I'm not in the mood for all of this." I exhaled deeply after saying that. "I just need to get some rest." My mother looked around. "You didn't bring your clothes along with y
