Eric’s POV:
Eric sat there, hearing the sound of water dripping in the background.
"Should I call her?"
He murmured to himself, his gaze fixed on the phone.
"No, no, that's too much.
Just a text; keep it simple, Eric."
He typed out the message, his heart racing.
"Can I see you?"

That's it. Now is the waiting game.
