“For you?” Lizabeth’s brows creased into a V shape atop her face. “Why will that happen?”
Mariama scuffed and covered her warries up with a warm smile. She has no business making Lizabeth a sole bearer of her own headache. Someone must have caused the crash that was believed to have displaced her, and the same person might have picked the biggest of his gun on hearing of her return to her place of power.
“Oscar called today.” Her smile went awry. “He wants me to come sign another divorce paper, claiming his lost the other one to fire outbreak.”
Lizabeth smacked the table. How could he still want divorce even after a fire outbreak at his place? He must be the one who hate Mariama the most as long as the universe is and would be.
“Did he tell you how bad the fire is?” Lizabeth asked, curious to know how far the far went with its little expedition, but Mariama made for food instead, while she waited patiently for her response.
“The fire was bad enough to burn the divorce certificate.
