The four of us smacked our lips as we wolfed down the food.
Dwane let out a satisfied sigh. "Ah, that hits the spot! The Wajima food we ate yesterday was fancy and all, but I always felt it was missing something. Nothing beats a good Alderdeenian steak! And with a side of potatoes and asparagus… Now, that's the good stuff."
Dwane's praise was muffled by his full mouthful of food.
Amused, I pushed another plate of fries his way. "Eat up! Have some more."
"Hey, Dwane, I thought you said you weren't from Alderdeen. Why do you like their steak this much?" Chase asked.
"Geographic boundaries don't matter when it comes to good food! Watch what you're saying, Chase. Don't tell me you're that small-minded."
"Alright, alright! I apologize!" Chase laughed.
"So, you were saying geographic boundaries don't matter when it comes to good food, Dwane?" Sullivan nimbly stole a fry off Dwane's plate. "Let me try out some of your local cuisine, then. Thank you very much."
