I sat up straight. My face was solemn. I didn't expect Alexis to be so daring. How could she meddle with drugs? Drew placed an envelope on my table. "These are pictures taken by the private investigator." I opened the envelope and took out a deck of pictures. Most of the pictures showed Alexis being affectionate with her paymaster. Some pictures had other people's side profiles as well. Suddenly, my hands paused as I focused intently on the bottom-most picture. There was a familiar face on Alexis' left side. It was Conor Webster. After looking more into it, it wasn't unusual for the both of them to be connected. Conor had connections in the underworld and has been using the entertainment industry to launder money. He did have quite a number of resources on hand. As for Alexis, she could use forces from the underworld to get rid of her competitors while getting her hands on Conor's resources within the entertainment industry. These two nasty birds of a feather did flock toget
