CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE - DIVIDED LOYALTIES
Erik caught one of her hands, bringing it to his lips. "What would I do without you?"
Before Anna could respond, a commotion erupted outside. They rushed to the window to see two groups of werewolves facing off in the courtyard, shouting and pushing each other.
"Damn it," Erik muttered, already heading for the door. Anna followed close behind.
By the time they reached the courtyard, the situation had escalated. Punches were being thrown, and Anna could see claws starting to emerge.
"ENOUGH!" Erik's voice boomed across the space, momentarily freezing everyone in place.
Anna stepped forward, her own anger rising. "What is the meaning of this? We're supposed to be a family, not enemies!"
One of the younger werewolves, his lip already swelling from a punch, spoke up. "They called us traitors for wanting to hear Lysander out! We have a right to make our own choices!"
"Your choices affect all of us," countered an older werewolf from the opposing group. "You're putting the entire pack
