CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND FIVE – FOLLOW HER UP

"Something's not right," Erik said, his voice low. "Anna's been... different lately. Secretive. I need you to follow her, discreetly. Find out what she's up to." Vara's eyes widened slightly, but she quickly schooled her features. "Are you sure that's wise, Alpha? Spying on your mate..." Erik's jaw clenched. "I don't like it any more than you do. But my instincts are screaming that something's wrong. I need to know what it is." After a moment's hesitation, Vara nodded. "As you wish, Alpha. I'll report back as soon as I have any information."
