Sophia White’s eyes landed on him for a moment and he seemed to feel her gaze as he raised his head to look towards her direction.
Their eyes met each other. Charles Harris’ brows frowned subtly while Sophia White turned her gaze away with a stoic expression.
“What’s wrong?” Victor Hemingway turned back towards her with the question when he saw she did not keep up.
Sophia White’s lips curved downwards slightly as she replied lightly, “Nothing.”
She walked forward towards him after replying.
Clara Robertson looked Sophia White up and down, blinking, “You don’t look so good. Are you sick?”
“I’m fine. I’m just feeling tired from walking a little too much,” the elevator doors opened at the moment and Sophia White walked in.
Clara Robertson waved for her to exit with a bewildered look, “This elevator is going up. What do you need from upstairs?”
“I must have looked at it wrong, I thought it was going down,” Sophia White answered a little distractedly as she walked out of the elevato
