Chapter 67 A Stormy Kiss
Sean Stewart bore down on her. He lowered his head and gazed at her and her tears in silence.
Jane Dunn shut her eyes.
Time was ticking away.
Finally, her brows eased up.
Sean Stewart glanced at the saline water bag. It was almost reaching the bottom.
After a while more, he pulled out the needle for her skillfully.
When he was young, his grandfather made him learn martial arts, hence there were many times when he had to hold real guns and engage in actual combat. Countless injuries later, tasks like pulling out needles just seemed like child’s play to him.
“Get up.” After pulling out the needle, Sean Stewart said to Jane Dunn indifferently. “How long are you planning to stay here? Get lost. Go back to where you belong.”
He chased her away.
Jane Dunn hung her head low and stood up without a word. She held the bed for support and got out of bed.
“Shoes.” He tossed a pair of slippers that were clearly oversized. She could tell that they belonged to him at first glance.
