Oscar started visiting more frequently. Eventually, our parents grew tired of seeing him.
One day, upon arriving home to find the door locked, he sat outside and cried. Afterward, he went back to school.
On the day of the SATs, Mom and Dad still went to the school gates to check on him. However, he didn't say a single word to them. Without even looking back, he walked straight into the exam hall.
