Chapter 241 She Will Always Be Waiting For Heaton Fudd To Come Home
Under the shroud of night, the Bolte Sea Bridge was faintly illuminated by the dim, yellow street lamps. The cold sea breeze blew, the chill biting deep into Verian’s neck.
She stood on the bridge while looking at the sea’s calm and endless surface. Finally, she could no longer keep her emotions suppressed as she yelled out toward it.
“Heaton Fudd! Heaton! I’m still waiting for you to come back! Hurry up and come back…”
Her shouting sounded hoarse and dry as she sobbed.
The early winter sea breeze felt like sharp knives slicing painfully against her cheeks. The instant her warm tears rolled down her cheeks, they cooled.
With her blurry vision, she stared toward the sea’s surface while she stood on top of the bridge.
“Heaton… Where are you?”
Old Lewis was standing on the side as he watched her.
His phone rang and it was from the Fudd family home.
