Chapter 16 The Mother Became Valued Because of Her Child
Early the next morning, Verian saw the familiar black Maybach pulling up at the front door of the kindergarten when she arrived.
The sturdy man leaned against the car as if he was waiting for someone.
"Mr. Fudd?"
Heaton squinted his black eyes and looked over at her beautiful face. Then, his thin lips opened slightly. "Ms. Mont, get in the car. We have to talk."
Talk?
Verian felt uncomfortable as she got into the car. Heaton looked calm as usual, and he threw a written agreement in front of her. His voice was monotonous. "Have a look. If there's no problem, sign it."
Verian was dazed. Her eyes fell onto the agreement in front of her. Rather than claiming that as an agreement, it would be better to call it an indenture to sell herself.
However, the conditions were extremely tempting: Monty Family Mansion would not be demolished, and it would be put under her name.
After reading that particular line, Verian picked up the black pen and signed it without thinking.
Heaton raised his eyebrow
