CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE INCERTITUDE

JADE’S POV There was no way in hell that I was going to stay in this gigantic house alone, and no amount of convincing from the diligent house owner was going to change my mind, so he finally agreed to drop me off at a friend's house. He made it extremely clear that I wasn't going to be staying with Peter, so Hannah was the next best thing; hopefully, she would keep her hands to herself throughout my stay, but knowing her, that wasn't likely. How could I remain in his house, which contained his essence and aura, when he wasn't there? Doing that would make me feel lonely, and that was the second-to-last thing that I wanted; the last was for him to leave, but he didn't seem to care about that because he was leaving anyway.
