CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR HIDE AND SEEK

JADE'S POV I stay still on the bed for some time, gathering strength to go shower. When I do, I get up and take the longest bath I've had in a while. Just after my shower, I realize that I'll need a shirt—his shirt—something I keep forgetting for reasons I can't comprehend. I contemplate what to do for a while before I decide to remain in my towel and underwear so I don't have to see him.
