CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FOUR IN A TRANCE
JADE’S POV
I finally got her off me and onto a couch at the far end of the room. I slipped my heels back on and put my coat back on correctly, but there was a catch. I had to finish a couple of drinks with her, aka intoxicating alcohol. According to her, I wasn't attracted because I still had my priorities in check; all the things that had been restricting my behavior would all disappear when I loosened up, and drinking was the only proper way to do that.
This was a terrible idea, and I knew that because I had been having a lot of those recently, but I didn't have a choice since the door was locked and she had the key. Besides, if I could prove to her that I wasn't attracted to her, we could all go home and turn it off for the day. I was exhausted at this point, so curling into a ball and drifting off for the night was the only thing on my mind. I had to get through an hour or so, and it would all be okay.
