CHAPTER THIRTEEN BULLIES IN THE CLUB

Mary came from a village. But she was a determined young lady. Through her own efforts, she got a scholarship to study at MIT, one of the best universities in the city. Apart from supporting her two aging parents and her other siblings, she was also supporting her childhood sweetheart. Her childhood sweetheart wanted to start up a company, and they were both saving money for it. “Just don't work yourself to death. I will be angry with you if you do that,” Bella advised. Mary bobbed her head enthusiastically. “Of course not. The studio would become hell for you if I'm no longer there, won't it?” Mary joked. She quickly led the two friends to another table near the window. “You can get a view of the outside from here. May I take your orders?” She took their orders and in no time at all, she had delivered the orders. “Enjoy your meal. I will go serve the other customers.” Mary said, slipping away happily. Kate looked at her with admiration. “She's such a cheerful girl.” Be
