Chapter 515
Derek's POV
I knew that for someone like him, they weren't afraid of death or pain. They were only afraid of losing consciousness.
The overhead lights illuminated Black Fox's face, and I could see beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
When the cold syringe pierced his skin, it felt to him like an ant bite. Yet, the veins on his hands bulged. He clenched his fists, struggling to break free.
Even a powerful werewolf could feel fear when faced with an unknown drug.
I coldly stared at him. "Will you talk now, or later when you have no dignity left? Who have you been working for all these years? Who instructed you to harm my son and Tabitha? Out of respect for our kind, I can let you die with dignity."
Black Fox swallowed hard. "Forget about it. Even if you beat me to death, I won't talk. You can fool others, but not me."
His counter-surveillance instincts were strong, and his mental resilience was far superior to that of ordinary people.
