Jade Lockwood turned her car around for the umpteenth time. She had not been given entry into the Rush mansion with the excuse that the Alpha was not home, but how was she to believe he had not given orders to shut her out?  She stepped out of the car, even though the sole of her feet burned in her six inches’ heel.
