Luke's POV "Alexis!" I called loudly as I entered the packhouse, slamming the door open. I almost instantly heard her footsteps before seeing Alexis run down the stairs towards me along with my parents, the twins, Beta, Chloe, Evie's grandfather, and her aunt Sophie. They all had worried expressions on their faces right now, I really couldn't care less. "Tell me, Alexis, is there a possibility, even if only one percent, that Evie would live again?" I asked frantically. "What?" I heard my mother gasp, but I didn't bother. Alexis looked surprised and didn't utter a word, which agitated me. "Answer me!" I roared impatiently. "I...I...I'm not sure." She stuttered. "Yes or no?" My voice rose like thunder. "Never have I heard of a Gumiho coming back to life before, but in Evie's case, it's possible." She hastily replied. "How so?" The twins asked in unison. "Evie only grew eight tails from the nine, so it's possible that the ninth gave her enough power to preserve a part of her soul and then
