Luke's POV As soon as the word 'rogue' reached my ears, I immediately scooped Evie in my arms and up the stairs towards our room. I tucked her under the covers. "I don't want you to worry about anything, okay? Take a nap, and I'll be there when you wake up, I promise." I said, wanting to assure her that everything would be okay and that I'd handle the situation. The last thing I want is for her to feel afraid and start to panic. To my surprise, she calmly nodded her head. I kissed her temple and hurried out of the room. As soon as my feet stepped out of the packhouse, I shifted into my wolf mid-air and sprinted towards where the fight was. My wolf, Rex, took over me completely with his strong, huge build.
