CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV I lose my strength after using too much energy. I saved everyone and found a safer place for them. I teleported their village in another place in East region and cast a barrier spell for them. I left after and went home. I feel that my body is acting up. "Cynthia?! Cynthia! Damn it!" he said. He tapped my cheeks. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him. "I can hear you, silly master. Don't shout. I am not feeling well." I said and closed my eyes to calm myself. He suddenly carry me and I can feel him walking inside the castle. In just few minutes, I felt my bed on my back. Everyone follows also. "What happen to you?" Pricilla. "Cynthia...?! Oh my gosh!" aunt Clara. She used her power and healed me. That made me feel better. "I saw everyone coming in her—oh gosh! Cynthia you are home!" aunt Miranda hugged me. I smiled. "I am. I am happy that everyone is safe." I said. I still feel bad and I choose to close my eyes to stable my strength. That almost made me die. If I get reborn again then it only means that I will be getting closer in being a madman or an evil witch. "Let's leave her for a while. She is weak. She needs rest. When I open my eyes, no one is around and I can see the moon on this long and wide window. I arose in bed and use my power to make the window open. Cold wind of winter embraced me. I saw food in my beside table. I took the tray and taste it. This must be aunt Clara and Miranda's food. "I am happy I made it and eat another delicious meal today." I said. The door opened and Ulysses came in. He must have sense that I am awake. I drank the water and teleported the eating tools that I use. He is standing in front of me. His eyes is shining because of the light of the moon. "Why are you here?" I asked. "This is my castle." he said. I tried to hide my irritation to his damn answer. "I know. Of course everyone here know that. I mean why did you enter my room?" I asked again. "What happened in gem village?" "I help them after I have a premonition that a certain vampire village will be slaughtered by beast slayers." I said. I felt like I am being interrogated. "That village is indeed slaughtered. Did you wanted to die that you even go there?" he asked. I sighed. "I am ready to die but, Ulysses. I want to live." ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV I am surprised to what she said. I don't care if she's just out of her mind.' I kiss her back when she claims my lips and we had do it again. When I open my eyes. She is sleeping soundly and facing me. But she is not cuddling me unlike what she does before we sleep. I caress her cheeks. I don't know if this is the effect of me marking her as my mate or I also desire for it. That I crave for it as well. I move my face closer to her and smell her breathing. She is at peace and even smiling. "Ulysses..." she mumbles. That made my right eyebrow arches. She is calling my name in her dreams and in a soft tone. I kiss her in her nose. "Damn it. What is wrong with me?" I mumbled. I am about to leave when she hold my pinky finger. While I still wish to be a normal woman. While I still can." she mumbled. You can tell in her voice that she is afraid. She even trembles. I look at her and there is tears in her eyes and even fear on it. She smiled bitterly and wipe her tears. She rose to bed and cover herself using the quilt. "Don't mind what I have said. Let's just say that I am being an idiot again. You can go back to your room now." she said. I carried her up and that surprises her. I walk to the bathroom and open the shower. Cold water embraces us. "What are you—uhmp!" I end up succumbing on my desire towards her. "Can we talk?" Estella said. The door opens and Pricilla came. She sighs and cross her arms. "Don't dare to make a commotion again Estella. If you kill Cynthia again, we will be doomed sooner than later." Pricilla said and left us. "Tell me what do you want to talk, Estella." I ask. Her skin is dark as coal especially her face. The kids laughed. "You are like a walking coal, big sister." Daisy. Then we feel a vampires presence. That pureblood appears and he held Cynthia's hand.
