Chapter Seven

I had imagined this night in many ways. At first, I had thought that I would end up getting pressed against the wall by Aiden after he got drunk. Later I thought that we would argue over something, and I would end up crying out helplessly. But little did I think that I would end up getting drunk instead and causing so much trouble to Aiden that he probably has had a headache! It all started from the talk about what were his plans for us after getting married! As soon as I heard the sentence that he wanted to mate me within a week, I felt as if I had lost my soul. My eyes widened so much that it could literally come out of the socket. Thankfully, Aiden didn't seem to see through my expression and I quickly hid myself before he could even see me. I pulled my hair before my eyes and gazed down at the table before me. Mating within a week! My face heated at the thought of it! Throughout the meal, I didn't talk to him and tried to digest his words until the waiter served us wine. And af
