I didn’t know what was happening, I was looking out the windowing watching figures zoom past when the car was pulling out to the curb. It stops. And then Aiden was carrying me over the gear box straight to his laps. His big and capable arms circle around me and held me protectively. He started making soothing sounds, rubbing my back in circular motion. I could feel it, he wanted to ask what was wrong but he just sat there, not to make me uncomfortable. And I didn’t feel like talking about it. Moments later after the tears had stopped, Aiden droves us home. I didn’t feel like eating and so didn’t Aiden. We decided to call it an early night.
