Chapter 18 Accidentally kicked him away

When I opened my eyes, I found that the person next to me was actually Adri? And he is stroking my head like my father? So that real feeling in my dream was actually Adri? "You're finally awake, you've had a high fever for two days, if you don't wake up, I should put you in the hospital intensive care unit." Adri retracted his hand and said to me. "Two days of high fever? But I don't feel anything..." Except that I still felt tired and unrefreshed. "It may be because you are too sad, but during the two days you were asleep, the council members have passed your application to join the Black Thunder Pack, so you are now our ally and no longer a maid." Adri said to me seriously. "Thank you." I said to him as I sat up and grabbed the bedside cup and took a few large sips of warm water. "I have to tell you another thing, the rouge, who is allied with Kendall, is attempting to start a revenge operation against us because of Kendall's death, and I have to leave for a while." Adri said to me. "I'll come along, even warriors need training, don't they?" I looked to Adri, not to plead with him, but to clarify with him. "No, Kasha, you're not in the right state for combat." Adri didn't want to take me, he was probably afraid I would lose control again. "Then what state do you think is best for fighting? I can assure you that even if I lose control, I won't attack your men." I argued with Adri, not wanting to spare the bastards that killed my mother. "Kasha, you know I didn't mean that, I just...well, I'll allow you to join the fight, but you must stay by my side and never act without permission, okay?" Adri eventually agreed. "No problem." As I answered him, I had gotten out of bed and grabbed my jacket and put it on. "We'll leave two hours after lunch and head for Mills City, which will be the first target of the rouge's attack." Adri said to me. "Those bastards are not going to take a step past the defense line." My heart burned with anger. After becoming an ally of the Black Thunder Pack, I no longer had to go and dine with the maids, but with Adri and the others. Senge was already waiting in the dining room and lunch was very well prepared. "Kasha, it's good to see you again." Senge saw me and immediately greeted me with a smile. And I responded to him with a polite smile. It was only after Adri sat down that Senge and I took our seats. Although there was little appetite, I had to have enough stamina for the battle that followed. "Kasha, your coming-of-age ceremony is over, right? So, have you found your mate yet?" Senge suddenly asked, almost making me choke on my juice. "I don't have time...," I replied sheepishly, glancing at Adri. "That's great, I didn't find mate either, if you don't mind, we..." Senge hadn't finished his sentence when his body suddenly lurched and his whole body fell to the ground. The plate that was in front of him was also buckled on his head at this time, and the pasta stuck to his face, looking very messy. "Sorry, Senge, a bug just crawled onto the chair, and I may not have controlled the strength." Adri said to Senge with an apologetic face. "It's okay, Kasha, we can be alone..." Senge was saying when the wine glass in Adri's hand suddenly shattered and the red wine in the glass flowed onto the table. Seeing this scene, Senge had the sense to shut up and stop talking to me. "Continue with your meal." Adri's face also eased a bit and he said calmly. Senge sat down again in the chair, looking at me with an innocent face, and looked at me with a bit of pity. After the meal, I went back to my room, grabbed some loose clothes and put them in my backpack, and brought a cloak along with me. A cloak would be a good thing to have when it's not convenient to get dressed right away. After getting ready, I went to the square to meet up with Adri. Senge changed into a clean clothes, hair was also washed, looks like the whole person are a lot of spirit. Watching me reach the square, Senge walked towards me. "Kasha..." Adri stretched out his foot, and Senge tripped and fell to the ground at once. And Adri gave him a blank look, raised his head, and rolled his eyes at Senge. "Senge, are you okay?" I walked up to Senge and reached out to pull him up. "I...am fine!" Senge stood up and said with a pained expression as he squeezed out a smile at me. Adri turned around and got in the car, and Senge got in too. I was about to get in the car when I heard a scream, followed by Senge flying out of the car. Yes, he is flying out. "What's wrong?" I asked as I looked at Senge, who was lying not far away, and bent down to look at Adri with great suspicion. "It's nothing, I suddenly wanted to move my arms and legs, and I accidentally kicked him out." Adri explained to me seriously. I visually measured the distance between Adri and Senge and it was more than three meters. Is this something that can be done accidentally? I got in the car and subconsciously kept my distance from Adri to make sure I didn't get knocked off my feet. But I was still uneasy about Senge, even though I knew that Adri had definitely done it on purpose. "If you care about him so much, then ride in the same car with him." Adri said to me a little angrily. "Okay." I pulled open the door and got out of the car, heading for a car in the back. Senge sat in the back seat of the car, and seeing me sitting in the car, Senge seemed to forget that he still had some bruises on him and looked at me with a smile. I saw Adri's sedan shake violently twice as I got in the car. Not long after, Adri stepped out of the car and headed my way. Opening the car door, Senge was lifted out by Adri. "My car is broken, and you're going to have to watch it until it gets fixed." Adri ordered to Senge with a cold face. After a farce, Adri and I headed for Mills City in Senge's car. The city of Mills is on the borderline, and beyond it is a rolling mountain range with snow and ice covering the tops. My father had told me that the people of Mills City were very hospitable and that it was also where he and Tina first met. It was after dark that we entered the city of Mills. Past the tall stone monument with a string of large letters carved into it was the city of Mills. The city of Mills is illuminated by lights at night. We drove along a riverside road towards the center of the city and didn't get out until we reached the entrance of the hotel. Mills City is prettier than I thought it would be. "Following the course of the river, the ship crossed the Dorga Bridge and docked at the Iphis pier, where the first rose picked from the Mede's garden, still with its crystal dew, was to be given to the girl waiting at the end of the Iphis River." I stood by the river and hummed softly the song that my father used to sing to me. "You can still sing?" Adri came up to me, surprised that I could sing. "Sure, the only song my father taught me." I turned to look at Adri and replied. "We'll stay here tonight and go to Alpha Carlton's tomorrow, for the war with rouges, we need his support and cooperation, that guy is not very nice to talk to." Adri said, walking in towards the hotel doors. From his tone, I could sense that there seemed to be some conflict between Black Thunder Pack and Carlton. Senge also arrived at the hotel not long after, staying in the room next to Adri's, with Adri in the middle and me in the room on the other side of him. Just as I was about to take out my cell phone to make a call, there was a knock on the door.
