Hudson’s hands were trembling at his sides as his mind was reeling with Claire’s painful words.
They hit him like punches, burying their pain in an already opened wound; he couldn’t believe how they’ve only seemed to argue every day, every night since she came back to him.
And each argument spiraled out of control faster than he cared to admit. He was losing his patience with each passing day’s argument with Claire; he feared that his patience may have run thin now.
