CHAPTER 28 A LITTLE CAUTION!

Claire “Don't you think Uncle Declan will be angry that we left the house without informing him? At least I heard him telling you, Aunt Claire, to not leave the house,” Irene said innocently from the back seat. “Since when did Declan become your uncle?” Willow inquired from behind the steering wheel as we made our way back to the mansion. “Since we moved to the mansion!” She quietly responded. I caught myself laughing. “Wow, so fast! We have only been in the house for two days, and you already consider him an uncle. I feel betrayed!” Willow complained with a pout, which Irene couldn't see. “You don't have to feel like that! This has nothing to do with you!” Irene explained softly to her. “We are on our way home, so you don't have to worry about anything, and you don't have to inform Declan that we left the house, okay?” I chipped in. There was silence in the car as everyone became engrossed in their thoughts. I looked out of the car as we drove along the road, watching the house
