CHAPTER 285 RIVALRY
Korbyn was done with the day’s sparring after he was declared winner, and Fawn was somewhere receiving help with her wounds.
The words she had said earlier still nagged at him, though he refused to show it.
He knew what she said was partially right because, as much as he tried to keep a low profile, he still stood out, especially when it came to sparring.
His personal form of relaxation is where he gets to beat the living shit out of the Hidden Horn werewolves and release his pent-up anger—a perfect win-win situation for him.
Of course, he would have enemies here, enemies who would want to know more about him than he cared to admit. But either way, Fawn wasn’t the type to be trusted. She was dangerous in her way, and he couldn’t afford to let her slip under his radar.
Korbyn strode through the hallway of the academy, his boots thudding softly against the stone floor as he marched to his next class.
