CLAIRE With a yawn, I stretched. The next morning, I rolled out of bed with a smile on my face. I made my way to get ready for the day. A life was developing inside of me, so I needed to be at peace with both my surroundings and myself. I headed into the bathroom. Remaining in the bathtub meant ruminating over and considering possibilities that did not quite add up. I brushed my teeth and took a shower, washing my hair with shampoo. After putting it around my shoulders, I used an electric hand dryer to finish drying my hair. I dressed myself by pulling a dress off the rack.
