CHAPTER 252 AUTUMN MOON BALL
Elora got a message from Alpha Hudson to come to work.
She could not be more pleased that her job had not been taken away and that she would still be connected to Alpha.
Fawn was still curled up in bed beside her, her face peaceful in sleep.
It was rare to see Fawn peaceful and calm. Elora hesitated for a bit before gently shaking her sister awake.
Fawn stirred, blinking groggily before her eyes focused on her older sister. “What is it?” she asked, her voice thick with sleep.
“I have been called into work, and I’ll be leaving soon,” Elora said softly. “But before I go, I wanted to talk to you about the Autumn Moon Ball.”
Fawn groaned loudly, pulling the covers over her head in defiance. “Do we have to talk about it now? I thought you said you were leaving for work.”
Elora tugged the blanket down, ignoring Fawn’s protest, and pulled the piece of cloth away from her sister. “Yes, we have to talk about it now. It’s only a few weeks away, and I hope you’re preparing yourself for it.
