CHAPTER 149 A DESPERATE RACE AGAINST TIME
The guard that Raven and his men were holding wasted no time before he ran back to the Pack. He was so scared as he skipped through the woods, looking back occasionally to make sure that he wasn't being followed, even though he knew that if they followed him, he would surely be killed.
There were no guards around, and he was the only one at this part of the boundary that had been extended a few weeks ago. His Alpha had gone through a lot of dispute before he finally had the boundary extended, and he had been the one guarding the area for a while now, but with what had happened tonight, he doubted if he was going to be out there alone.
He kept running and didn't even when his lungs began to burn and his legs began to hurt. Survival was what mattered to him now. He didn't stop until he finally burst into the office of the Pack's superintendent, who was just about to close up for the day. Jasper was a stern-looking man, just like most of the guards around.
