CHAPTER 143 SURPRISE AMBUSH!!

Claire, Anya, and Declan moved quietly along the edge of the Pack boundary, making sure not to be seen. The dense forest around them provided some cover, but they still had to be very cautious. They had been gathering every single type of camouflage that they could use to hide themselves, but so far, it had been useless because they hadn't encountered any enemies, so it was impossible to tell if it was going to work or not. Anya looked at the map again before taking a sip of water from the container she was carrying. She handed it to Claire before nodding. "Looks good. We are on the right path." She said, glancing at the lake upfront. It was right there on the map. They were in the forest that divided the Packs around, and that was the only way they could get through without being noticed. They had decided a plan to keep moving and not stop until they finally got to the other side of the Pack, where they would find other benign Packs but would welcome them without turning them in.
