A few minutes later, he walked back into Eamon’s office, still not convinced that he wasn't behind the whole thing. Something told him that Eamon wasn't telling him the whole truth, and he wanted to find out what it was. But Eamon looked so sure of everything he had been saying. He just came back to want the king one more time to do that, and any action he would take after this would be purely justified.
He didn't allow Eamon to speak before laying out his threats.
"You should know that I take this very seriously. If I find out you're lying, I'm going to start first by burning this village to the ground. And you'll be next."
Eamon stood up from his seat, frothing with rage. "Are you threatening me, General? Have you forgotten that you're not in your Pack? You dare not talk to me like that. Know your place here!" He growled, but the general wasn't having any of it.
