CLAIRE. The next few days were nothing but a blur of activity. The entire village was mobilised and everyone now had a role to play. As soon as I had suggested that we had to go on with our plans and not wait for the witch, Eamon went around and announced that trouble was coming and everybody had to be prepared. It was heart-warming to see everyone responding swiftly and doing what they had been asked to do. I wasn't left out of the whole thing though, despite my pregnancy.
