I was more than happy to find my mates, and being with them was a feeling I couldn't describe.
It was the closest I have been to heaven.

I smiled at them as we enjoyed the peace in their warm embrace.
I barely had time to process what had just happened. Alpha Rambo lay dead, the terrifying force that had almost claimed my life extinguished by the twins. My entire body ached, but it was over. We’d won.
“I’m taking her,” Nathan declared, standing up, his arms already outstretched to lift me. His eyes burned with intensity, but before he could reach me, Tristan smoothly stepped in front of him, blocking his path with a smirk.
“Nice try, little brother,” Tristan teased. “But I’ve got this.”
Nathan scowled, his jaw tightening. “You always think you’ve got this! I’m carrying her back.”
I blinked between them, my exhaustion briefly overshadowed by their ridiculous competition. “Uh, guys?” I croaked. “I can walk, I am not that weak.”
