"I don't like this, Ella," Nathan's voice was sharp, almost cutting through the evening air as I zipped my jacket. Tristan stood beside him, his face a mask of silent frustration. The twins rarely agreed on anything, but on this, they were united.
“I’ll be fine,” I replied, keeping my tone calm, even though the tension between us was suffocating. “Sara’s coming with me, and you two need to get back to Alaska. You know we have a pack to protect.”
