Ava's POV:
As soon as the words passed my lips, I knew I'd everyone's attention, including that of the two adults sitting in front of me, whom I was ashamed and disgusted to call my parents. I hated them with a passion; they were vile people who didn't even deserve the right to breathe the same air as everyone else. Call me extreme, but that's how I felt.
As I looked around the room, I realised that I was indeed right, because everyone was staring at me in confusion and shock. I doubted they even realised how much the people they'd considered a pack, people they'd considered family, were so sick in the head that they kept making mistakes that would make others turn pale just thinking about it.
